Cambridge SoundWorks has created a new series of In-wall speakers, modeled after their very popular original Ambiance In-Wall by Henry Kloss. Customers have asked for more size options and Cambridge SoundWorks has complied. The newly designed series of speakers are perfect for music or Home Theater--combining wide-range natural sound quality with incredible installation ease.

The Ambiance In-Wall speakers use an open-back infinite-baffle design. Because they use a wide-dispersion tweeter, they can be placed in a variety of locations, and still provide natural stereo imaging throughout the room. The speakers are mountable in either a wall or a ceiling and allow for optimum performance by adjusting the tweeter toward your listening area. Most remarkable is how easy the installation job is with the Ambiance In-Walls. The automatic swing-arm mounting system, which requires no additional brackets, makes the installation as easy as 1-2-3. They are available in three sizes. The Ambiance In-Walls are also paintable. Painting instructions and a paint shield are included to help keep paint from where it does not belong. Thin fabric (not included) can also be stretched across the standard grille material to match or contrast with the surrounding decor.

The Ambiance 52 uses a 5 1/4-inch woofer for perfectly balanced sound with the smallest footprint.

FEATURES:

 

• Injection-molded copolymer cone with rubber suspension will not absorb moisture if the speaker is mounted in a wall with a poor vapor barrier, as is common in older homes. Also allows speakers to be placed in areas with high humidity conditions, such as bathrooms.
• Tweeters can be swiveled towards the listening area so that they stay balanced with the less directional low and mid frequencies.
• Tweeter level switch-allows the user to increase the tweeter level slightly. Helps to compensate for the loss of high frequency response which will occur if the homeowner decides to add a cloth grille over the metal mesh, if the speaker is installed in a room with unusually "dead" acoustics, or simply for personal preference.
• Protection against overpowering-Tweeter is protected by a solid-state self-resetting device which will turn the tweeter off in the event of potentially damaging signals. Once volume has been turned down they will automatically be restored.
